For Those Long Days At The Crease
Traditionally a batting shoe, we place seven or eight spikes in the forefoot of the shoe. There are two options in regards to the heel of the shoe;
a Dimpled Heel: rubber dimples on the heel or
a Profile Heel: 'profile' of material used on forefoot place on heel just without spikes
This provides the player with a balance of grip at the crease and the versatility of movement. There is also a choice in the density and thickness of the rubber sole and the size of spikes used.
Predominantly a batting shoe, however, this is a good choice for the player who only bowls part-time spin or slow.
This spike pattern can be done in either the traditional full plate or two plate designs. Our two plate design allows for maximum weight reduction in the shoe. The soles are fixed using our unique triple glueing process and the forefoot is then stitched.
